Memorial Health Foundation Introduces New Board Members

The Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees confirmed five new members at its February meeting: Ted J. Kleisner, Jerry Meyer, Steve Stephens, Cynthia Willett, and Beverly Young.

“We are very excited to welcome these new members to the Foundation board,” said Bill Donahue, chair of the Memorial Health Foundation Board of Trustees. “All five are leaders in the community and will contribute important skills and guidance to our board. Together, we will help Memorial acquire the financial resources it needs to care for the people in our region.”

Ted J. Kleisner, a third generation hotelier from Chicago, graduated with a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Denver. He is retired chairman, president and CEO of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company (HE&R).

Jerry Meyer was a member of the Member New York Stock Exchange for 32 years.   He has served on the board of Catholic Charities Diocese of New York (Cardinal's Committee of the Laity) and on the board of Savannah Philharmonic Patient Advisory Board for the Curtis and Elisabeth Anderson Cancer Institute (ACI) at Memorial University Medical Center.

Steve Stephens is a Savannah native and president & CEO of Stage Front Presentation Systems.  Steve’s community involvement has included the Rotary Club of Savannah, CEO Council, Savannah Film Commission, Creative Coast Advisory Board, Savannah Economic Development Authority’s advisory board, and Lucas Theatre for the Arts. 

Cynthia Willet is passionate about and an advocate for children.  She is a member of the Children’s Hospital Charters Circle, and she is on the Kid’s Only Capital Campaign Committee for The Children's Hospital at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She is also on the advisory board for the Bluffton Boys and Girls Club of South Carolina.

Prior to moving to Savannah, Beverly Young was a member of the Liberty County Garden Club, local chair of the Liberty County branch of the American Cancer Society, and was a volunteer for the First United Methodist Church in Hinesville.  She is a retired Broker and former member of the Hinesville Area Board of Realtors.
