The Next Generation Presents The Children’s Hospital at MUMC with $126K Check

The Next Generation presented The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center with a check for $126,701.58 to purchase much-needed medical equipment and to support various programs including The Children’s Hospital Prom.
“We are so grateful for the continued hard work and generosity of The Next Generation in raising funds to help ensure great access to care and technology for our youngest patients,” said Bill Lee, senior vice president, The Children's Hospital.
The Next Generation is a volunteer organization founded to benefit The Children’s Hospital at MUMC. The check presentation occurred during the organization’s 5th anniversary event held last Tuesday at Cohen’s Retreat. Since 2010, The Next Generation has donated approximately $450,000 to support critically ill children and their families both physically and emotionally over the years.
“We are extremely proud of what this organization has accomplished over the last five years,” said Neilie Dunn, president of The Next Generation. “The Next Generation is committed to continuing our mission of providing a positive healthcare experience for our community’s children.”
