Hospice Savannah, Inc., the oldest and only Joint Commission-accredited hospice in the Coastal Empire, has hired Chad S. Carnell as the not-for-profit’s Chief Operating Officer.

Chad replaces Art Gnann, CFO, who is retiring on May 29. As COO, he joins the Senior Leadership team and provides direction and oversight to the Finance, Operations and Information Systems departments and staff.

Chad was most recently the CFO for Windward Behavioral Care in Daytona Beach, FL and prior to that served as CFO for Community Based Care of Brevard, Inc., in Melbourne, FL. He holds an MA in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix, Tampa, FL and a BS in Accounting from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL.
