Press release from the issuing company
Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015
Pattillo Industrial Real Estate, of Stone Mountain, announced that it will be developing the Cartersville Business Park, a 188-acre master planned industrial development with all utilities, industrial zoning and park covenants that will support 1.7 million square feet of buildings. The new park will be located on Cass-White Road, a half mile off exit 296 on I-75.
The company added that it will be 100 percent Freeport tax exempt, meaning business inventory located there will not be subject to state property taxes.
The first building to be constructed in the new business park will be a 265,000-square-foot speculative building, complete with concrete tilt wall construction, a 30-foot ceiling clear height, a 185-foot deep truck court with trailer storage capacity, up to 49 dock doors, up to 295 car parks, an advanced sprinkler system and a 7-foot concrete floor slab.
The building will reportedly be designed so as to allow the occupant the ability to customize its office space, as well as its mechanical and electrical systems.
John Drake, business development and speculative buildings Georgia representative for Pattillo Industrial Real Estate, is quoted to say that `there are no tenants scheduled at this time`.
Pattillo has already developed two facilities in Bartow County, including YANMAR America Corporation and Daiki Corporation, both in Adairsville.
