The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce is calling for nominations for its 2015 business awards, which will be presented to selected recipients at the Business Awards Banquet on Thursday, June 11. The deadline for nominations is Thursday, April 23. To nominate, go to http://bit.ly/1I05Fuk.  

Each year the Chamber honors businesses and individuals representing all major sectors in the Savannah area’s economy – small business, industry and tourism. The awards include Entrepreneur of the Year; Environmental Excellence Award; Gulfstream Community Involvement Award; Helen V. Head Business Advocate Award; Hospitality Award; Manufacturer’s Safety Award; Small Business of the Year and World Trade Center Savannah International Business of the Year.

The annual Business Awards Banquet will take place following the Chamber’s Business Expo, which runs from 3-7 p.m., at the Savannah Hilton DeSoto. Networking at the expo and banquet will be held during a cocktail reception from 5:30-7 p.m. on June 11, and the banquet will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $50.
