Savannah SBDC to Present "Location Isn't Everything" Seminar

The Savannah Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a Public Service and Outreach unit of the University of Georgia, will present “Location Isn’t Everything” on Tuesday, April 28th at the Small Business Resource Center located at 111 E. Liberty Street, downtown from 6-8:30pm. This class is designed for existing and new business owners that are looking for a physical location to lease or purchase. It will take an owner through the process starting with identifying an ideal location to the actual signing of the lease or purchase agreement. Topics that are covered include: lease legalities, site selection, rent calculations, negotiations, additional costs that may be incurred, potential landlord contributions, and zoning. Resources for demographic research will be introduced and demonstrated as well as other local resources for business owners.
