Savannah State University's Annual Research Day is April 7th

Savannah State University will hold the fifth annual research day on Tuesday, April 7, at the student union. This conference will explore the exciting research conducted by SSU undergraduate and graduate students alongside their mentors during academic year 2014-2015.

The format for this conference will include networking sessions and poster presentations.  Additionally, panel discussions and invited guest speakers will stimulate further interest in faculty and students to participate in research.

Students from multiple disciplines have submitted abstracts and will be presenting their ideas for discussion. Their programs of study include management and marketing, political science and public affairs, social and behavioral science, social work, sociology, computer science technology, engineering, physics and mathematics, marine science, and natural sciences.

Registration and judging begins at 8 a.m. The public is invited to attend after 10 a.m. Awards will be announced at 11:30 a.m.
