Savannah’s USCIS EB-5 Regional Center Asked to Sit on the Advisory Board of the IIUSA

Savannah’s USCIS EB-5 Regional Center, Southern Film Regional Center now sits on the IIUSA Presidents Advisory Board. This allows the SFRC to provide input to the IIUSA Board of Directors, and in particular to the IIUSA President, on matters of government/public affairs, industry policy, association operations. SFRC will also receive legislative and policy updates in real time through the leadership at IIUSA and their lobbyists.
Founded in 2005, Invest In the USA is the national membership-based 501(c)(6) not-for-profit industry trade association for the EB-5 Regional Center Program (the “Program”). IIUSA advocates for policies that will maximize economic benefit to the U.S. from the Program. Accordingly, our primary mission is permanent authorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Program by Congress after 20+ years of bipartisan support and current record breaking economic impact statistics. From FY 2005-2013, the Program has accounted for over $6.5 billion in capital investment that supported over 131,000 U.S. jobs – and the numbers are growing every day.
IIUSA Mission:
- Be a strong, unified voice for permanent authorization and improvement of the EB-5 Regional Center Program to enhance Regional Center activities.
- Stimulate economic development and job growth in the United States.
- Advance and maintain Regional Center industry standards and best practices.
- Educate the public and government about the benefits derived by the Regional Centers through the EB-5 investment program.
- Represent Regional Centers and facilitate their efforts in addressing administrative, regulatory and legislative issues at all levels of government.
SFRC is Southern Georgia’s first and only EB-5 Regional Center.
