World Trade Center Savannah Hosts C-TPAT Security & Threat Awareness Training

On Thursday, April 30, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., World Trade Center Savannah will host C-TPAT Security and Threat Awareness Training at World Trade Center Savannah, 131 Hutchinson Island Road. The World Academy, a nationally recognized training organization offering import/export trade compliance education and training, will lead the seminar.

The seminar will be led by Rennie Alston, CEO of American River International Ltd. Alston is regarded as the premiere customs regulatory expert, licensed customs broker, and global security specialist. He holds more than 30 years of interactive work experience with the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection.

This seminar covers all aspects of the C-TPAT certification process and on-going responsibilities of a C-TPAT participant. It will serve as an annual C-TPAT security training and awareness forum and is structured to provide best practices associated with global supply chain management under the minimum security guidelines as enforced by the Department of Homeland Security Industry Partnership Division. The workshop will review all aspects of the C-TPAT initiative from application to the 5 Step Risk Assessment review and analysis.

Cost for the training is $75 per participant. Each participant will receive reference handouts and 4 CES/CCS points.
