Chatham County Commissioners Release Merger Framework

The City of Savannah has just sent out the framework agreement for the Savannah-Chatham Police Department Merger.
After months of negotiations, Chatham County's manager and Savannah's City Manager reached the agreement on Tuesday. Now, the city council and county commission will have to approve the proposal.
