Felder & Associates is pleased to announce its rehabilitation project of the historic Greyhound Bus Depot, now The Grey, has received a special judges’ award from Hospitality Design (HD) magazine. From more than 560 entries, The Grey received special recognition for “Fine Dining Redefined.”
The building, owned by New York entrepreneur John O. Morisano, is located along the MLK corridor in Savannah’s historic district. The space was conceived by New York–based firm Parts and Labor Design with Bloomquist Construction Company, Inc., serving as general contractor. Parts and Labor Design nominated The Grey to be recognized by HD magazine.
Felder & Associates, along with The Grey, was honored during the 11th annual HD Awards ceremony in New York. The annual event recognizes outstanding commercial spaces across the country. This year’s distinguished panel of judges were thrilled with Felder & Associates reinterpretation of the former bus depot and chose to create a one-of-a-kind award for their efforts.
“I am pleased and overwhelmed by the recognition we have received in response to this rehabilitation project," said Brian Felder, managing prinicipal of Felder & Associates. “This was truly a collaborative effort from beginning to end.”
In addition, the June issue of HD will feature the transformation on this unique venue. HD magazine, published 10 times a year, is the premier trade magazine serving the hospitality industry, specifically restaurant, hotel and commercial design projects.
