Morrison Dental Associates dentist Dr. Joseph Brown has been selected for induction into the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honorary dental organization designed to honor outstanding achievement in dentistry.

The Pierre Fauchard Academy is currently comprised of more than 8,000 Fellows divided into 120 sections, and the membership is comprised of dentists who are among the most outstanding leaders in various fields of dentistry. Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy is by nomination and fellows are selected based on contributions to dental literature, service to the profession of dentistry, and service to the general community.

Dr. Brown practices general dentistry, sleep dentistry and cosmetic dentistry at Morrison Dental’s locations in Savannah and Bluffton and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Hilton Head/Bluffton Dental Society, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He served as South Carolina Dental Association’s Chairman of the Committee on the New Dentists and is a House of Delegates Member representing the Coastal District, and he is the currently the President of the Coastal District Dental Society.
