Pace Lighting of Savannah, Georgia is delighted to announce a major ownership succession and leadership transition. On Thursday, May 21, 2015 Pace Lighting took an important step in its ownership succession from its founding owners towards its new female ownership team by finalizing a transfer of ownership shares. These shares represent a majority controlling interest in Pace Lighting and are held by Lisa Dixon, Tabitha Thomas, and Lindsay Williams.
Dixon, Thomas, and Williams have worked at Pace Lighting for six, seven, and four years, respectively, and all have grown from entry level positions to management and corporate ownership. Jointly, they handle all day-to-day company processes and management decisions across all departments.
In addition to the changes in ownership, Pace Lighting also proudly announces two new corporate officers. As appointed by the Board of Directors, Lisa Dixon will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer and Tabitha Thomas will become the Chief Financial Officer of Pace Lighting, both effective Friday, June 5, 2015. Ms. Dixon is replacing retiring CEO and company founder Frank M. Bartlett.
Pace Lighting was founded in 2001 by Frank M. Bartlett and R. Larry Howell. In fourteen years of operation, Pace Lighting has grown to have annual sales in excess of three million dollars and has become a nationally and locally award winning lighting showroom. While retaining its small business roots and fundamental core philosophies, Pace Lighting continues to grow and the new female ownership team remains committed to the long term success of Pace Lighting as laid out by its original owners. Outgoing CEO, Frank Bartlett stated, “Larry Howell and I are proud to transition our business to the next generation of owners, and I know they will continue to provide the best in experiences for each and every customer and to lead the lighting industry for many years to come.”
