Robin Restoration, LLC recently sponsored an event in conjunction with Historic Savannah Foundation to unveil HSF’s new economic impact report, “Beyond Tourism: Historic Preservation in the Economy and Life of Savannah and Chatham County.”

Attended by local civic and community business leaders, this reception allowed individuals to receive a copy of the report completed by consulting firm PlaceEconomics. The survey confirmed the positive impact historic preservation has on job creation, an improved tax base, and stable property values.

“As a supporter of Historic Savannah Foundation, I am honored to be part of an event that further solidifies the necessary role HSF plays in our city’s preservation and economic growth,” says Brian Robin, Founder of Robin Restoration, LLC.

The preservation economic impact study used data from the City of Savannah, City of Tybee Island, Chatham County, Historic Savannah Foundation, Savannah College of Art and Design, state and federal databases, online research platforms, on-site tours, and in-person and phone interviews. The report findings can be found online at www.myHSF.org
