The Savannah Jaycees will once again host their annual Father Daughter Dance from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 at the Oatland Island Wildlife Center, located at 711 Sandtown Rd, Savannah, Georgia 31410. Dinner will be provided by Cheddar’s. The money raised from this year’s dance will go to the Savannah Jaycees’ general fund to be distributed throughout the year based on the needs of the community.

The Savannah Jaycees is an organization for young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40. Their mission is to inspire leadership growth through community involvement by supporting local families and nonprofit organizations.

“The Father Daughter Dance is our chance to invite the public to help with our mission and to have a little fun with it,” said Marcie Moxley, Chairperson for the Father Daughter Dance. “Some of our sponsors have bought tickets for service members and their daughters to attend free of charge. Firemen, police or military members can contact me for more information.”

The Savannah Jaycees are pre-selling three raffle packages. The Ultimate Fathers Day Giveaway prizes include river cruises, gift certificates to Ruth’s Chris, golf for four, downtown walking tours and spirits from Johnnie Ganem. The Pampered Princess Package includes prizes such as a facial from Silver lining Spa, acupuncture session, massage from Therapeutic Embrace, thirty days of unlimited Power Yoga, gift certificates to My Sassy Sister and Tubby’s.
