Union Mission Will Graduate its 70th Culinary Arts class

Union Mission is proud to announce that students from the 70th class of its Culinary Arts program will be graduating on Thursday, June 11th from 12:00pm to 1:30pm.The graduation ceremony will take place on the Union Mission campus, located at 120 Fahm Street. Each graduate will be presented with their ServSafe certificate, their chef jacket and toque.
Guests are invited to stay for lunch, which follows immediately after the ceremony. Lunch will be prepared and served by the graduating class. Seating for lunch is limited, so please contact employment coordinator, Ms. Crystal Thomas at (912) 234-0525 x. 1503 to reserve your place.
The culinary skills training is currently one of the most successful programs offered by Union Mission’s Employment Training Center, providing participants with valuable culinary skills that support greater economic stability for themselves and their families.
Union Mission is a non-profit organization focused on preventing and ending homelessness in the greater Savannah area. On a monthly basis, Union Mission provides 7,500 shelter nights, 2,000+ meals and supportive services – counseling, recovery services, and employment training. Through our programs, we seek to create an environment where individuals can thrive and lives can be rebuilt. Our goal is to encourage the growth of the individual and by doing so, permanently eliminate their homelessness.
