United WebWorks, a full-service web development and internet marketing provider, recently hired Megan Muccillo as a marketing assistant. In that role, she performs marketing audits on clients’ websites, creates custom looks for a variety of web pages, and performs keyword research to create the most effective optimization plan for every website.  

Before joining the United WebWorks team, Muccillo worked as a student assistant at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga., where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in multimedia communications with a minor in public relations. While there, she also won the Multimedia Up and Coming Star award.  

Muccillo, who has an inbound marketing certification from HubSpot Academy, previously volunteered at the Humane Society of Statesboro and Bulloch County and the Bulloch County Boys and Girls Club. A native of Meansville, Ga., she currently resides in Savannah.
