The Warriors 4 William Foundation will tee off at 8 a.m. Monday, June 8th to raise funds for the eradication of childhood cancer.  The foundation’s first annual golf tournament will take place at Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa on Hutchinson Island.

After registration at 7:30 a.m., founders Bill and Danielle Webb and parents of William Webb, who passed away last year from stage 4 Neuroblastoma, will welcome participants followed an 8:00am shotgun start.  Hole prizes will be given in a variety of categories, such as a hole in one and a tee buster.  Additionally, gift bags full of merchandise and other goodies will be distributed to all golfers who register.  The day includes up to 24 teams and lunch will be provided by Paul Kennedy Catering along with a chance to win some fabulous raffle items from UGA, 50/50 raffle and a shot at winning a car donated by Grainger Honda.  The cost is $125 per player or $500 per team of four. Anyone interested may register by emailing [email protected] or singing up in person at Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa in the pro shop.  100% percent of the proceeds from the day will be donated to research programs for finding a cure for childhood cancer.  Event coordinators are still seeking sponsors and donors to help ensure the tournament’s success.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, ranging from a $700.00 Platinum Sponsor to a $100 Hole Sponsor. The perks of sponsorship vary by category, but all include sponsor recognition and the opportunity to contribute marketing merchandise for the players’ gift bags. Sponsors are given the option to enter players in the tournament. Monetary donations and additional products for the bags also are appreciated. Donations must be received by June 1st to ensure proper recognition.

Alan O’Berry, Coordinator for W4W Golf Tournament said, “The commitment of the Webb family to find a cure for childhood cancer is inspirational.  We are still in need of sponsors and support and invite all golfers, whatever their skill or experience level, to join us for a fun day of golf on June 8th on Hutchinson Island.”
