The West Broad Street YMCA’s inaugural Teen Technology Club, celebrated the commencement of their 2015 program on June 8, 2015 at 6:00pm. Mr. Dominic Ross, volunteer and City of Savannah employee, served as the instructor for the weekly evening class.  Congratulations to Miciah Biggins, Isaac Johnson, Isiah Johnson, and Shania Wallace for a job well done! 

The program’s intent gives children the opportunity to become literate in modern digital technology. In turn increasing the formal education competencies. Thanks to the Comcast Foundation, West Broad Street Y teens had the opportunity to research, analyze, and evaluate digital resources. The teens were exposed to social media, blogging, and digital programming over an 8-week period.
