Georgia Fourth Worst for Health Insurance Coverage, New Data Shows

Georgia has the fourth-highest percentage of people lacking health insurance coverage, according to data released by the U.S. Census Bureau.

About 16 percent of the Peach State population was without health insurance in 2014. That’s 1,568,381 people in Georgia without insurance, a 15 percent improvement over 1,846,305 uninsured in 2013.
