Savannah Mayoral Candidates Talk Crime, Cronyism and Gambling

The Savannah Jaycees hosted a two-hour mayoral debate at the Coastal Georgia Center Monday night. Mayor Edna Jackson and her three challengers, Eddie DeLoach, Murray Silver Jr. and Louis Wilson answered questions posed by panelists and submitted by the audience on issues that included crime, cronyism and gambling on Hutchinson Island.
Do you support gambling on Hutchinson Island?
All of the candidates except Wilson said they were against gambling on Hutchinson. Wilson said he thought gambling would be good for development on the island.
