Step Up Savannah's Commitment Unwavering Despite Persistent Poverty

Savannah’s poverty reduction effort marks its 10th anniversary with its partner network continuing to chip away at three decades of persistently high poverty with little apparent change.
But Suzanne Donovan, executive director of Step Up Savannah Inc. since July 2014, said the local commitment remains strong in trying to meet the complicated challenge with “not just government people but many in the business and private sector that understand that this is still important.”
