Florida-Georgia Weekend Generated an Estimated $35M Economic Impact this Year

The Florida-Georgia football game weekend was a big economic score for Jacksonville this year.
The game played between the University of Florida Gators and the University of Georgia Bulldogs Oct. 31 at EverBank Field brought an estimated $35 million impact in spending to the city for the weekend, according to a news release from the city of Jacksonville Friday. The figure for this year’s event is $2 million more than for 2014’s game weekend.
