Walmart Raise Hourly Wages in Georgia

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. says it will provide 58,900 additional raises for associates across the state, which will increase the full-time average hourly wage in Georgia to $13.64, and the average wage for part-time associates to $10.47 an hour.
The raises will take place by February 2016, the company says. The raises represent an investment of $87.4 million in Georgia, Walmart adds.
