Norcross-based GC&E Systems Group Awarded $12M Task Order at Fort Stewart

GC&E Systems Group, Inc. announced its successful pursuit of the IMCS III task order at Fort Stewart, GA. This task order valued at over $12M is to provide Administrative Telephone System, Land Mobile Radio and cable plant infrastructure requirements for the Southeast Region Network Enterprise Center at Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield and the port of Savannah. This task order is a one year contract with four one year options, totaling a Period of Performance of five years.
The Army has designated Fort Stewart as the Southeast R-NEC which supports Army IT networks across Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. The effort covers three Army local NECs and five surface deployment and distribution commands. The R-NEC operates as a subordinate element of the 7th Signal Command, part of the Army’s Network Enterprise Technology Command.
In making the announcement, GC&E’s owner and Chief Executive Officer, Dan O’Sullivan, stated, “GC&E is excited to contribute to the mission at Fort Stewart, this one is close to home and we want to serve our troops near and dear to us. Over the next five years, we will provide exceptional service to the Army at Fort Stewart and nationwide.”
