Retiring Director Talks About His 12 Years Dedicated to Savannah’s Growth, Projects

After 12 years at the helm of the Metropolitan Planning Commission, executive director Tom Thomson served his last day Friday with the organization, which is responsible for development, urban and transportation planning, historic preservation and much more in the Savannah community.
