Recognizing the growing need for specialized and prompt care, Optim Orthopedics Urgent Care is expanding its hours to better serve the needs of the community. Optim’s Urgent Care was designed to expedite and rapidly treat orthopedic injuries by bringing together specialized orthopedic expertise and convenience seven days a week.

“Musculoskeletal injuries account for a great majority of injury-related healthcare visits,” stated Chip Wallace, Optim Orthopedics Urgent Care staff physician assistant. “Prompt treatment is critical to proper recovery from orthopedic injuries which is why Optim Orthopedics Urgent Care provides specialized urgent care days, nights and weekends.”

Optim Orthopedics Urgent Care has expanded its hours to meet the growing needs of our community and provides immediate walk-in or same day care for orthopedic injures like strains, sprains, and fractures. Optim offers specialized care in the areas of: foot and ankle; hip and knee; hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder; and orthopedic neck and spine. Services available during your visit include MRI, x-ray, casting, bracing, and crutches depending upon your injury.

The new extended hours of operation at the 210 East DeRenne Orthopedic Urgent Care location are: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Weekend hours remain the same: Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.

“At Optim Orthopedics, our goal is to get you back to feeling better as quickly as possible. Extending our Orthopedic Urgent Care hours allows you to skip the ER” said Wallace. “No referral or appointment is needed and every walk-in patient is treated by an orthopedic provider specializing in joint, bone, and muscle care.”
