The Sea Pines Resort has issued the following statement regarding the organization’s filing of a lawsuit on its behalf against Jeffrey David Kruse.

“The McNair Law Firm has filed a lawsuit on our behalf against Jeffrey David Kruse for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. Mr. Kruse, former Vice President of Food & Beverage at The Sea Pines Resort, resigned in December 2017. During an internal review after his departure, it was learned that Mr. Kruse had engaged in activities that were not known by and were not approved by The Sea Pines Resort. As a result, The Sea Pines Resort engaged McNair Law Firm as legal counsel, and McNair Law Firm has initiated a lawsuit on its behalf against Mr. Kruse. That is all the information that we can provide at this time.”
