Development Authority Seeks Wetland Permit for Bryan County ‘Mega-Site’

In April 2015 the Savannah Harbor-Interstate 16 Corridor Joint Development Authority (JDA) filed an application with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a permit to build on a 1900 plus acre site just off Interstate 16 in Bryan County to construct a major manufacturing facility. The idea then was to attract Volvo to the site.
