Cora Bett Thomas Realty recently announced Amanda K. Jewell as a real estate agent. In this role she will facilitate negotiations between residential buyers and sellers in the Savannah area and will have a special focus on waterfront properties.

Jewell has an extensive background in real estate. She most recently worked as a consultant redeveloping historic properties, verifying National Historic Registry requirements, and negotiating tax credit benefits. She hopes to use this background to help buy and sell homes in the historic district of Savannah. Prior to that she spent several years in residential real estate. She is also a recipient of the Keller Williams “Rising Star” award.

From Chattanooga, Tennessee, she is now excited to call coastal Georgia home. Jewell and her husband, currently live in Richmond Hill and say being on the water is a way of life for them. In her free-time, she helped created a non-profit called Naomi Project that helps hurting women and children who are homeless and victims of Domestic Abuse.
