Former Savannah Starland-area Grocery Store to Get New Life

When David’s Supermarket opened at 2400 Bull St. in 1933 it cemented its place in Savannah’s history as one of the city’s first self-service grocery stores and now more than 80 years later a local development company is working to give the building another chance at life after sitting vacant since last year.
