Cora Bett Thomas Realty recently announced the hiring of Angela Schmidt as a Sales Associate.  In this role, she will handle sales, negotiations and real estate transactions in the St. Simons area.

Although new to real estate, Schmidt has worked in retail management her entire career: serving in management for Walgreens and Whole Foods Market. While in these positions, she was responsible for all retail operations, human relations, and financial performance. Schmidt is excited to put her management and negotiation experience to use as a Sales Associate with Cora Bett Thomas Realty.

Associate Broker of Cora Bett Thomas Realty, Sandra Sandling, serves as Schmidt’s mentor. Sandling sold the Schmidt family their current home and is the reason she decided to get into real estate. The two will now work as a team in the St. Simons area.

Originally from a small town south of Kansas City (Pleasanton, Kansas), Schmidt received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Her and her family are new to coastal Georgia and Schmidt is eager to work with others who are relocating, looking for second homes, and/or searching for the perfect waterfront home in St. Simons.
