Personal Injury Lawyer Joshua H. Dorminy Joins Harris Lowry Manton LLP as Associate at Savannah, Ga. Office

Harris Lowry Manton LLP, an award-winning, full-service trial law firm with offices in Atlanta and Savannah, recently hired attorney Joshua H. Dorminy as an Associate at the firm’s Savannah office.
 
An accomplished personal injury lawyer, Dorminy is responsible for supporting the legal team at Harris Lowry Manton LLP and developing, handling and preparing cases for trial. His practice areas include personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice and wrongful death.
 
Prior to joining Harris Lowry Manton LLP, Dorminy worked as an Associate Attorney at several law firms in Savannah, Ga. and Brunswick, Ga. and as a Clerk for Judge C. Jean Bolin at the State Court of McIntosh County in Darien, Ga.

Originally from Darien, Ga., Dorminy earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Ga., where he served as the chairman for the Mock Trial Board and was a member of the American Association for Justice Mock Trial Team, National Trial Competition Mock Trial Team, Florida National Mock Trial Team and William Daniel Mock Trial Team. He won the National Trial Advocacy Tournament and was named Overall Best Advocate. While in law school, he was appointed to the Order of the Barristers, named a Fellow of the Lumpkin Inn of Court and served as an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta honor society.
 
Dorminy earned a B.A. in Education from Shorter University in Rome, Ga., graduating summa cum laude. As an undergraduate, he served as Captain of the Shorter University Football Team and as President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also earned honors as a member of the NAIA Football All-America Team and was named an NAIA Scholar Athlete and NAIA Champion of Character finalist.
 
Dorminy serves as the Treasurer of the Young Lawyers Division of the Savannah Bar Association is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He currently lives in Savannah, Ga.
