As more people are staying home due to the coronavirus, Painting With A Twist studios in Pooler and Savannah are taking necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the illness.

The paint-and-sip studio is now offering limited-time “Twist At Home Kits” for those who don’t feel comfortable venturing in public. The kits include a 16x20 canvas, paint, brushes, paper plates, napkins, a disposable cup and written directions on how to complete a painting. There are 10 different canvas styles to choose from — including options for children who are home from school.

“For parents trying to occupy their kids home from school, this is a great way to keep them engaged without screens,” said Jessica Hamel, owner of the Painting With A Twist studios in Pooler and Savannah. “And for the more vulnerable members of our community, Twist At Home Kits will hopefully relieve some stress with a creative activity. Just add your own wine.”

Kits will be available for pick-up starting Thursday, March 19, at the studios. The kits are $29. Those interested can register for the “Twist At Home Kits” online.
