The Pooler Lions Club has partnered with the City of Pooler, Chatham County Schools, and local volunteer organizations to distribute produce food boxes as part of the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program. This hunger relief effort will aid Chatham County during this COVID-19 pandemic. The Pooler Lions will receive a truck loaded with 1,920 boxes of fresh fruit and produce on Saturday, July 25.

Starting at 10:00 am at the West Chatham Middle School, in Pooler, one box of produce will be placed in each vehicle’s trunk.  Distribution will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, until all produce is distributed or 1:00 pm.
