Kick-Off of the 12th Annual READY! SET! GO! Back to School GIVEAWAY

The Board of Directors invite you to the Kick-Off of the 12th Annual Ready Set Go Back to School (RSGBTS) giveaway. The kick-off is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Empowerment Center 4704 Augusta Rd (Hwy 21), Garden City GA. Our partnership with Feed the Hungry is extra special this year because we will fulfill the needs of our families with school supply items and fresh produce.
Due to social distancing, school supplies will be distributed via drive thru and families will stay in their cars with trunks open while volunteers input their school supplies and Feed the Hungry will distribute produce and/or food. “With limited sponsors, providing the basic school supply items for 5,000 youth is tough but our organization is committed to supporting the families of this community.” said Tanya Scott-Pilcher, Event Co-Chair. During the press conference, some of our sponsors may be present to make a check presentation to RSGBTS.
The RSG BTS “Pack the Trunk” School Supply and Food Giveaway will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Garden City Recreation Center 160 Priscilla Thomas Way.
