WHAT:  The Savannah Jaycees are set to host a panel discussion with members of our local delegation to discuss the hate crimes bill recently passed in Georgia

The panel discussion is aimed to educate the public and create a productive conversation about Georgia’s new hate crimes bill. The bill was sponsored and written by members of our local delegation, so in an effort to become more knowledgeable on the bill, the Jaycees have invited two legislators as panelists. 

Panelists will include:

-Senator Lester Jackson

-Rep. Ron Stephens

Only Savannah Jaycee members are permitted to attend the event in person, but the entire panel discussion will be live streamed via The Savannah Jaycees Facebook page in order for the Savannah community to get involved and engaged.
