United Way of the Coastal Empire Hires Kyle Harding as Director of Development

United Way of the Coastal Empire recently hired Kyle Harding as the organization’s development director. Harding is responsible for implementing strategies that focus on generating revenue and managing donor engagement programs. He will also provide ongoing leadership and supervisory direction to United Way Ambassadors, volunteers, and key projects that advance departmental and organizational goals.
Harding spent nearly 30 years at Shaw Industries, one of the world's largest carpet manufacturers. At Shaw, he held leadership roles in a range of areas such as product development, customer service, and distribution. Most recently, he served as operations manager for Shaw Floors’ Distribution Division in Port Wentworth where he led the team in achieving a 500 percent growth rate. Additionally, he led the United Way workplace giving campaign at Shaw when it was one of the top 30 United Way of the Coastal Empire donors.

Fortunate for us, he is passionate about making the world a better place and has been committed to the value and service provided to the community through United Way for a long time,” said Brynn Grant, President and CEO of United Way of the Coastal Empire. “Kyle was the Chairman of the Board of United Way of Bartow County, in Cartersville, before moving to Savannah to open the Shaw distribution center, and he worked as an Ambassador with United Way of the Coastal Empire through the 2019 campaign.”
Harding now lives in Savannah with his wife Pam.
