At work supporting construction projects throughout the Southeast, college students are gaining hands-on job experience through summer internships provided by JE Dunn Construction.
The students are working closely with JE Dunn project managers, superintendents, preconstruction services managers and other professionals to carry out responsibilities ranging from field work to document control to project punch lists and close-out procedures.
“Quality internship experiences play an important role in preparing the next generation of professionals for our industry,” said Vice President and Division Manager Ryan Price. “We at JE Dunn are pleased to offer these students daily, real-world experiences as well as industry insights and connections that will enhance their education. We’re also happy with the contributions they’re making to active construction projects.”
Savannah office interns and their project assignments are:
Linley Pearson – Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University – pursuing a major in Construction Engineering and Management. She is assigned to the Jenkins High School project
Mitch Peck – Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University – recent graduate with a degree in Building Construction. He is assigned to the UHS Coastal Harbor Health System project
