Savannah Ambucs is excited to announce the 9th Annual Celebrity Bowlapalooza event with a Kick-Off Party on October 1, 2020. This annual FUNdraising event brings together the community’s high-profile leaders, schools, and leading corporations with the organization’s rock star bowling league for one spectacular day of fun. 

This annual event begins with a Kick-Off Party on Thursday, October 1, 6-10 pm, at the Palmetto Club in The Landings and includes a sit-down dinner and live auction, and formally announces the celebrity bowlers to the community so they may officially begin their fundraising efforts. Event organizers have planned for all safety measures (due to the Covid-19 pandemic) and will host the event outdoors and masks will be required along with proper social distancing protocols. 

“Savannah Ambucs bowling league was founded in 1965 and to date consists of over 93 bowlers,” said President of Savannah Ambucs Kevin Sheehan. “This annual event is something the whole community looks forward to each and every year and unfortunately, due to the current health climate, we have been unable to host our traditional bowling league. However, like everyone, we decided to pivot and find a safe yet exciting way to proceed with Bowlapalooza. This event is more than a fundraiser, it’s a chance for our bowlers to show off their skills and let the community know how our mission of ‘Inspiring Mobility and Independence for All’ impacts our members. But, most of all, it’s just a lot of fun for everyone involved and fun is much needed right now.” 

Celebrity bowlers and Title Sponsor will be announced prior to kick-off.
