The essential services of talented healthcare professionals are needed more than ever, and St. Joseph’s/Candler is excited about the team that will bring that talent to its health system. SJ/C recently welcomed a new leadership to its Human Resources department and they are actively seeking new applicants.
Peter Nyamora, MPA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is SJ/C’s new Director of Human Resources. Nyamora is new to Savannah after holding leadership positions in Florida over the last several years. He is joined by Amy Beytagh – Manager, Human Resources; Stacey Brown – Manager, Benefits and Compensation; Laura Floyd – Manager, Occupational Health Services; Rashad Luckett – Manager, Employee Relations; and Marlene McKinley – Manager, Employment.
Ms. Beytagh, Ms. Brown, Mr. Luckett, and Ms. McKinley were all recently promoted to their new roles after years of service in SJ/C’s HR department. Ms. Beytagh joined SJ/C as a Nurse Recruiter in 2015. Ms. Brown served more than a decade as SJ/C’s Comp & Benefits Administrator. Mr. Luckett served as Human Resources Manager beginning in 2016; before joining SJ/C he served in a similar role for CitiTrends, Inc. Ms. McKinley has served in various HR roles at SJ/C over the past 18 years. Laura Floyd was promoted to Manager in Occupational Health Services in 2015, but started her career at SJ/C as an RN more than 30 years ago.
“It’s exciting to see what this diverse and highly-experienced group of people is doing to build our dedicated SJ/C family of co-workers,” said Steve Pound, Vice President of Human Resources. “Our mission at SJ/C is demonstrated by the energy and enthusiasm with which we serve and grow, which leads to greater access to the highest quality care in our region. As a result, many co-workers find their time at SJ/C to be the longest lasting and most rewarding of their career.”
