Coastal States Bank (CSB) is proud to announce its support of the local non-profit organization Greenbriar Children’s Center. CSB recently made a contribution of $5,000 to Greenbriar through the CSB Community Commitment’s COVID-19 Grant Funding, which was established to help various organizations due to the impact of COVID-19.

“Greenbriar Children’s Center is so grateful for the incredible generosity of Coastal States Bank,” said Greenbriar’s Executive Director Gena P. Taylor. “This is a critical time in our community and this gift will help us to continue our programs for our children…including our emergency shelter, our Project Safe Place, our free family and individual counseling services, and our two accredited and affordable early learning programs. What an extraordinary impact they are already making as a new business in the community.”

According to their website, “the mission of Greenbriar Children’s Center is to promote the healthy development of children and the strengthening of families.” Their center provides childcare in addition to residential and family counseling services.

“The services provided by Greenbriar Children’s Center make a tremendous impact in our community,” said CSB Regional President Brian Smith. “We are proud to support their mission and know this contribution will assist them towards making a difference in the lives of many children and their families.”

The CSB Community Commitment was established in 2018 with a mission to strengthen and enhance the communities served by Coastal States Bank through grants and employee volunteerism which support a diverse range of charitable efforts addressing local community needs and opportunities.
