Monday, September 14th, 2020
Stature Investments held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of The Shops at Lakeside Village, located at 1702 Pooler Parkway, as well as the first retail occupied unit, home to the new Dunkin' restaurant.
Ceremony speakers included City of Pooler Mayor Rebecca Benton, Mike Ferreira, Co-Owner of U Donuts, Yash Desai, President and COO of Stature Investments and Owner of the Lakeside Village development, and Chris Tilton, Co-Principal of Dewitt Tilton Group, a premier commercial construction firm in the Lowcountry. Local leaders Councilwoman Karen Williams, Councilman Aaron Higgins, Councilman Tom Hutcherson, President of the Pooler Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Jabron Webster, and representatives of the Pooler Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau also joined in the celebration.
The Shops at Lakeside Village is an exciting new retail center, covering 1.83 acres, in one of the most rapidly developing areas of Pooler. Local commercial construction firm, Dewitt Tilton Group was contracted for the pre-engineered building and designed The Shops at Lakeside Village to feature high ceilings, a modern appearance and multiple suites of varying sizes.

The 17,389 square-foot metal building stands in the northwest corner of Pooler Parkway and I-16 interchange at Memorial Boulevard and is part of the larger Lakeside Village development, a mixed-use and luxury residential community positioned across the street from the recently opened St. Joseph’s/Candler medical campus.
Current tenants include Dunkin', Fleet Feet, Axiom Staffing Group and AT&T, whose entry features an 18-foot tall corner tower entrance. Leasing space is still available.
The newest next-generation Dunkin’ features a modern look that provides a fresh, friendly, vibrant and engaging environment for guests. Exciting elements of the new restaurant include:
-
Modern Design: The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment.
-
Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are now served through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted drinks to order.
-
Increased Energy Efficiency: The new Dunkin’ is a DD Green Achievement™ restaurant, which is designed to save 25% more energy compared to a standard Dunkin’ restaurant.
As part of Dunkin’s ongoing efforts to help ensure the safety of guests and crew in light of the COVID-19 health crisis, all restaurants are limiting service to carry out as well as delivery through delivery partners where available. Dine-in service has been suspended to prevent the congregation of guests. On-the-Go ordering is available through the Dunkin’ app for pickup in-store or at the drive-thru to limit contact.
The 2,300 square-foot restaurant employs approximately 30 crew members and is open every day from 4:30 AM to 10:00 PM. This Dunkin’ also features comfortable indoor and outdoor seating with complimentary Wi-Fi. The openness, colors and materials used in the design help to create an approachable, positive and energetic environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ products.
"It is an amazing thing to be able to celebrate the opening of The Shops at Lakeside Village a few weeks ahead of schedule," said Yash Desai, President and COO of Stature Investments. "Pooler is where we live and work -- it's our neighborhood. We are thrilled to see how quickly it's developing and are truly fortunate to be a part of Pooler's future."
To help celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant is offering all Healthcare Workers and First Responders a Free Medium Hot or Iced Coffee through September 30.*
Including the new Pooler restaurant, Dunkin’ franchisee network U Donuts LLC currently owns and operates 13 Dunkin’ locations throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
