Memorial Health University Physicians Adds Two New Doctors to Women’s Care

Memorial Health University Physicians (MHUP) is pleased to welcome two new physicians to their growing network of primary and specialty care practices. Amelia Bostwick, MD, and Kristen Snipes, MD, both OB/GYNs, will bring their experience to MHUP’s Women’s Care practices serving Savannah, Pooler and Bluffton.
Amelia Bostwick, MD, board-certified OB/GYN, will provide safe, high-quality obstetrics and gynecology care for women in the Savannah area. “As a woman, a mother and a board-certified OB/GYN, I understand the many transitions in each woman’s life. I take pride in helping all women navigate these changes with grace,” Bostwick notes. She will practice at the MHUP – Women’s Care locations in Pooler and on Lexington Avenue in Savannah.
Bostwick is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She completed medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine – Savannah Campus and the OB/GYN residency program at Memorial Health. Prior to joining MHUP, Dr. Bostwick practiced at the Women’s Health Center at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup. She also served as the Chief of Staff for Wayne Memorial Hospital in 2017.
Kristen Snipes, MD, will bring the same high-level of personalized care for women of all ages in the Bluffton area. She comes to her new post with a background focus in determining pregnancy risks through noninvasive prenatal testing. “I look forward to growing with my patients from childbearing years through their later stages of life,” says Snipes. Her practice will be located at MHUP’s Women’s Care – Bluffton location in Okatie, South Carolina.
Snipes earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wofford College and her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2016. She completed her OB/GYN residency and served as Chief Resident at Memorial Health. Dr. Snipes is proudly married to a military veteran and is a South Carolina native.
