Female-Owned Prime Liquor Store Announces Grand Opening Event on Monday, Dec. 14

Prime Liquor Store, an elite shopping experience offering fine spirits, wine, craft beer, cigars and more, will be hosting their Grand Opening on Monday, Dec. 14 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at their new store located at 5500 Abercorn St. in the Twelve Oaks Shopping Center in Savannah.
Owned and operated by sisters-in-law Teejal Patel and Priyanka Pardeshi, Prime boasts the best bourbon selection in the area, unique cigar and wine humidors, rare rums and gins, as well as a vast selection of craft liquor, beer and wine.
“Prime specializes in more rare and allocated bourbons and liquors, but we are really a place where anyone can walk in and afford to walk out with something,” said Patel, an experienced connoisseur of spirits who grew up in Florida with a father who successfully ran a liquor store.
After decades of living in Savannah, Patel decided that she was ready to bring her vision of opulence to this male dominated industry.
“I am proud to be the Louis Vuitton of Savannah liquor stores, except when you come to shop our selection of luxury, everyone can get a sip,” explained Patel. “Everyone deserves to experience that richness, so we are inviting everyone to come in, sit on our throne and shop.”
From Four Roses to Blanton’s and Cohiba to Davidoff cigars, Patel and Pardeshi gurantee that when you wander the aisles of cognac, Scotch, bourbon, gin, vodka, tequila, wine and extensive coolers of beer, you will be sure to find something that fits your tastebuds as well as your budget.
“Prime is much more about the customer than it is just the product,” said Pardeshi. “We work hard to carry what our customer base demands, but also to make them feel special and catered to when they visit. We want to be the hometown, liquor store where we know your name and what you like to drink to unwind. That’s why we made the store less like a warehouse and more like a high-end retail experience.”
Notably working to be an intricate part of the Savannah community, portions of the sales from Prime’s Grand Opening event, that is free and open to the public, will be donated to the local Ronald McDonald House.
