The Gaslight Group has partnered with Wicked Cakes of Savannah to host a Wickedly Sweet Fundraiser for United Way of the Coastal Empire December 11^th -13^th at their b. Matthew’s Eateryand The 5 Spot Midtown locations.  Wicked Cakes has donated a variety of cakes and cheesecakes (caramel apple cake, triple chocolate cake, carrot cake, red velvet cheesecake, cookies and cream cheesecake and salted caramel cheesecake) for the delicious endeavor.  Slices will be sold throughout the weekend with all proceeds being donated directly to United Way of the Coastal Empire. Dine-in, dine outside or order to go…whatever your preference, you can help strengthen our local support system while enjoying a decadent treat!

To sweeten the deal The Gaslight Group will be running an additional giveaway on their Instagram pages (www.instagram.com/bmatthewseatery & www.instagram.com/the_5_spot ) for the chance to win a $50 gift card to each restaurant.  The dessert will be in a friendly competition to see which will be most popular.  The winner will be crowned the Wickedly Sweet Champion!  To enter, fans should follow the Instagram page, comment with their prediction for a winner and tag a friend who would love to have a slice of the wickedly delicious desserts.

The fundraiser is part of The Gaslight Gives Back program created by the Huskey Family, owners of the Gaslight Group to say Thank You to the community who have made their restaurants and bar successful over the years.  Brian Huskey said of the upcoming event, “Being a good member of the community is essential to having a successful business.  Our community dines with us, works with us, celebrates with us, and supports our employees.  We want to do everything we can to bring that full circle by giving back as often as possible.”
