YMCA Names New Chief Operating Officer

The YMCA of Coastal Georgia is excited to announce former District Vice President, Krystal McGee, has been named Chief Operating Officer. McGee joined the YMCA of Coastal Georgia in 2016 after an extensive career in corporate recreation both at the Y and with the United States Army.
Overseeing operations across ten YMCA locations, McGee will focus on membership engagement and retention and champion the YMCA’s Annual Campaign. She will work with YMCA Leadership staff, Board members and community partners to develop and implement inclusive, creative strategies to ensure the financial and programmatic success of the Association. McGee has a proven track record of successful project management, including overseeing the planning and execution of opening the Statesboro Family YMCA in 2017. Her commitment to strengthen our communities is evident through her involvement with the Rotarty Club Savannah South and as a Leadership Southeast Georgia, Class of 2018 graduate.

Since beginning her YMCA career at the Liberty County/ Armed Services YMCA as a Sports Director, McGee has a deep connection to the Y’s mission and vision. McGee is and will continue to be an asset and will help drive the YMCA of Coastal Georgia to serve the communities of Coastal Georgia.
