Amid Lost Venues in Savannah, Local Musicians and Promoters See Live Music Returning in Full Soon

This past year has seen the closure of several restaurants and beloved music venues, including the Jinx, and now the Bayou Cafe. COVID-19 forced musicians to retreat to their homes where they have been live streaming from their bedrooms to try to stay connected with their audiences.
Now, after a long drought, live music is finally starting to seep back into the city, but with the pandemic still raging and some restrictions on public activity remaining in place, many are wondering what state the local music scene is currently in and what changes lie over the post-COVID horizon.
