Crowned Elite Athletics, a Savannah-based all star cheerleading gym committed to excellence and sportsmanship, competed at The Snowflake Classic (an annual USASF All Star Event) here in Savannah on Saturday, January 23rd and proudly placed first in multiple divisions.

The Snowflake Classic brings regional gyms together to compete, every year, at the Savannah Convention Center. Crowned Elite Athletics brought three of their teams to compete in each of the following divisions: Tiny Level 1 Novice, Junior Level 3, and Senior Level 5. 

Crowned Elite Athletics placed first place in the Junior Level 3 division after their fifteen athletes performed a near perfect routine with zero deductions. This same team also walked away as the Grand Champion winners, meaning they had the highest Level 3 score at the entire competition. 

“We are so proud of our athletes, so excited for their big win at a hometown championship, and always delighted to represent Savannah,” says Crowned Elite Athletics gym owner Shazia Edmonds. “This year, perseverance has been imperative for our talented cheerleaders! We are so proud of their resilience and hard work during such a non-traditional season impacted by COVID-19. We can’t wait to continue the momentum and finish out this season strong!”

The gym also placed first in the Senior Level 5 division, after an entertaining and highly advanced performance by eleven of their athletes. Crowned Elite Athletics Tiny Level 1 Novice team was also given an “Outstanding” remark after their performance on Saturday (at this young age, they do not order the placements of the teams).
