Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce the following new hires in its Savannah office. 

Nikhil Duggirala joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Department as a Designer. He has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Georgia. Duggirala has experience in construction, surveying, and site design. As a Designer, he will provide the project team with project base plan development, loading calculations, water and sewer layouts, roadway widening design, and site grading. Duggirala is currently assisting with a rezoning application and concept plan submittal for an upcoming multifamily project in Port Wentworth, GA. In his free time, he enjoys gaming, watching the Atlanta Falcons, and learning how to play golf.

Griffin Savedge joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Department as a Designer. He has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and worked in geotechnical consulting in Charlotte, NC prior to joining Thomas & Hutton. Savedge will be assisting the project team in site layout and utility design. Given his previous experience in geotechnical engineering, he will be assisting with earthwork analysis. His projects include D.R. Horton communities and Palmetto Bluff. Outside of the office, Savedge enjoys playing golf.

Zach Lacaria joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Department as a Designer. Lacaria has a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Georgia where he was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and Concrete Canoe Club. He has a background in heavy civil and marine construction. Lacaria will be assisting with layout of utilities, drainage routing and design, site grading, plan generation, and permit coordination for various projects. He is currently on the design team for a 4,000-square-foot warehouse expansion for Specialty Flooring in Jasper County, SC. When Lacaria is not working, he enjoys attending church, bible study, and camping.
